The one-hour show highlights all of the best action from the National Flag Football Championships held January 4-6, 2011 in College Station, TX.
Watch as 40 of the top Men’s, Women’s and Co-Rec flag football teams from across the country compete for the National Championship.

This past week was completely rained out here at La Salle. Because of the weather no games were hosted, but we can look at it as a bye week for all the teams. After a week of rest and game planning, you can be sure to see some of the best games yet. Another sampling event will be taking place on the first night that games resume, so come out and enjoy some POWERADE! Unfortunately, there is not much to say about week two of flag football intramurals. Due to awful weather, two out of the three days of football were canceled. The POWERADE sampling day and only flag football day was exciting with several spectacular plays. Many spectators lined the sidelines to cheer on their team and drink POWERADE. Hopefully there will be just as much fun and excitement next week. Weather permitting!

This was not only the first week for La Salle University Flag football, but it was a first for the program. This semester there are more teams in the program then ever before, everyone of them just as pumped up and energetic as the next to get to the City 6 tournament. With more competition then ever, the level of competitive spirit is sky high. In the first week alone there were some of the best games I have ever seen at La Salle University. For being a flag football program, there has never been as much blood, sweat, and tears left on the turf at McCarthy Stadium then ever before. This year is going to be the best one best years at La Salle University for the intramural sports progam! With new Campus Reps eager to capture the best game highlight that this year has to offer, as well as many Powerade sampling events keeping the players hydrated to maintain the high octane playing styles, be prepared to witness some amazing things from this new and improved Philadelphia college program!

As the new season got underway, many teams came out to prove they were the best at La Salle. The flag football program has grown since last year with 8 more teams. In the end, day one belonged to the upperclassmen as they dominated the inexperienced teams in every aspect. If a game was close at halftime, it turned into a whitewash the second half. The mercy rule was in effect in a few games as well. Nonetheless, the intensity and tenacity did not leave the field until the final whistle blew. As the next few weeks progress, there will be an increased sense of flag football knowledge among the inexperienced and the veterans will certainly be tested. Each team has their eyes set on the ultimate goal: to be the best at La Salle and go to the Philadelphia City Six Extramural Championship!
