The Season
Hey guys,
The seasons getting close to the end. Were seeing the cream rise to the top and things are getting intense. Theres been some blowout and theres been some close ones. The games are only going to get better from here. Playoffs are coming up and soon well have a new champion. Come out to the Sportscenter every week to see how the teams are doing. What else are your gonna do? Study?
Blue vs Yellow
This game is intense. I can’t decide if I want to watch yoga next door or this game of giants. Hopefully nobody kills me, as we are set up entierly too close to the basket. Next week makrs the start of playoffs, and we are doing the apparently HUGE championship game. Supposed to have a ton of people out here, and I know they will all be enjoying an ice cold POWERADE along with their viewing of the game.
Season is winding down
As the season closes, it is still up in the air who is going to take home the trophy (in this case, a tee shirt). Doing our last sampling events, we are pushing for videos videos and more videos, hopefully catching some sweet plays/dunks. What I should be capturing is the fights the players get in with the refs. It is incredible what they get mad over, I mean I understand not getting a call, but it is intramurals, and they are going to let you play! I’ll see what I can conjure up tonight…
Best Ref in the game
I’m here at the Tuesday night intramurals, and I think I can safely say the best ref in the league is here calling this game. Not only is he sporting a fu man chu with stylish Wolverine sideburns, but he also the man, the myth, the legend, Devon Ginty. This kid drains 3s like no other on the USD basketball team, and here he is calling a game that is 2-0, 10 minutes in. His one call of the game was made with such style and grace though, he has to be the best ref in the league.
