The 2010 NCCS National Flag Football Championship Show, sponsored by POWERADE, premieres this Saturday, January 29 at 10pm ET on CBS College Sports Network.

The one-hour show highlights all of the best action from the National Flag Football Championships held January 4-6, 2011 in College Station, TX.
Watch as 40 of the top Men’s, Women’s and Co-Rec flag football teams from across the country compete for the National Championship.

Below is some insight on the men who associate themselves with dominate team of Marie Peters:

The gentlemen of Marie Peters have often been hailed for their extracurricular activities as well as their skills on the football field. In what looks to be their final season, they have brought together top talent for one last run at the open division championship. Off to their usual 3-0 start, they rely on a few pregame rituals in order to succeed. Team uniforms, pasta dinners, and of course the team wide event “No-shave November.”

This has been an exciting first week for UCONN’s intramural flag football season. While new teams are working on team chemistry and figuring out strengths and weaknesses, veteran teams are devising new plays in hopes of winning the championship. Below is some insight on one of the more seasoned teams:

G-Code has been led by Coach Montone and Coach G for four years. Often referred to as the Bills of the 90’s, G-Code has had exceptional regular seasons but is still seeking the elusive championship ring. A game day ritual consists of wearing your jersey to classes, pasta dinners, and a curfew the night before. They hope for a successful season and expect to finally capture the championship. GOOD LUCK G-CODE!
