Intramural Basketball went out with a bang. All the games were very close and very exciting to watch. The new POWERADE pinnies looked awesome and there were a lot of spectators supporting the teams. Check out all the photos that were taken from last night. Congratulations to all the winning teams!

First Day of Playoffs!

Tonight is the last sampling event!!!!!!! Stop by Boyden from 6:30-9:30pm for some basketball, free POWERADE and drawstring backpacks! The competition is going to be intense since today is the first day of playoffs. Also, if you stop by our table and say, “Joshua Duboff was Sam the Minuteman” you will receive a free drawstring backpack!

Beginning of Playoffs!

I can’t believe intramural basketball season is heading into playoffs! Despite games being postponed due to weather, teams were definitely fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Don’t forget that there is a playoff meeting on 3/2 in Boyden and all forfeit fees are due prior to that meeting.

This week will be having our LAST POWERADE Sampling Event!!!! Make sure to stop by for your last chance to grab a free POWERADE. If you come over to the table and tell either Remi or myself “Joshua Duboff was Sam the Minuteman” you will receive a free drawstring backpack. Also, there will be another surprise at the Sampling Event this week, so come check it out.

Good luck to all the teams as we kickoff the start to playoffs!

Good Morning UMass,

Hope everyone had a fun Friday night. I think it snowed more last night then it did throughout the entire week.

NEWS: LAST POWERADE SAMPLING EVENT THIS WEDNESDAY (Boyden 6:30-9:30)

If you have yet to make it down to one of our POWERADE Sampling Events, our last one is a must-see. We will be giving away draw-string bags and POWERADE all night with many contests and challenges stored for you!

Also, don’t forget last chance to sign up for our contest where you will be placed into a raffle with a chance to win an entire case of POWERADE and a draw-string bag.

Fifty videos have been selected for the POWERADE College Intramurals Basketball 2010 Video of the Year.

Voting for the preliminary round starts today! Visit the CBS Intramurals Games page to view all the videos and vote for the best.

The Preliminary Round runs February 23, 2010 — March 7, 2010. The top video from each group will go on to the Semifinal Round from which the top two videos will be selected for the Championship Round.

Make or Break

UMASS,

We are getting so close to the playoffs I can already feel the emotion building up in places like the Rec Center, both Southwest DCs, and even in some of my classes. With that said, I expect nothing more than bodies hitting the floor, diving for loose balls, taking charges, and nailing the clutch shot with seconds left tonight.

Come down to Boyden from 6:30-9:30, enjoy some fresh-tasting POWERADE, and watch as teams make or break their season in the second to last week of the season. Make a spectacular play, show hustle, and there is a good chance you can see yourself up here in the form picture or video clip.

**Don’t forget to sign up at the table as we are giving away an ENTIRE case of POWERADE of the flavor of your choosing and a drawstring bag!!!

Heading into Week 5

As we are heading into week 5 of intramural basketball, there have been a lot of close games. It is clear that teams are fighting their way to make it into the playoffs. There is still time to sign up for our competition, with the chance to win a free case of POWERADE and a drawstring backpack. Stop by our sampling event tomorrow at Boyden Gym from 6:30-9:30 pm to sign up for our contest and grab a free POWERADE. Great job to all the teams this week and see you tomorrow!

Sampling Event Tomorrow 2/16/10

Despite games being cancelled due to our “snow day”, the games that did occur this week were played with high intensity and enthusiasm. A great way to start off this short week is with a sampling event tomorrow! Hopefully the snow will not cancel the games.
