Tuesday night was our final POWERADE sampling event and the Championship game night for the fall Flag Football Season here at Virginia Tech! What a fun night it was! Not only was there lots of great games of football and tons of delicious POWERADE, there was also some other tents with free samples, and fun halftime games for players and fans! A wing eating contest was probably the most entertaining (and gross) to watch! All the contestants chowed down on PK’s wings and than washed them down with ice cold POWERADE!

We got some great pictures during the games, as well as all the winning teams with their championship t-shirts and banner! Check them out in the photo section on the website! Also you can check out the video of Samantha, one of your campus POWERADE reps, participating in one of the halftime challenges!! Pretty funny stuff!

We had a great time with you all this season and we hope everyone had a fun time playing flag football and drinking POWERADE!

This week VT had two back-to-back sampling events during the flag football games on Tuesday night and Wednesday night. It was so exciting to see all the different teams come together to play, even in the rain. We have started the playoffs so every game was close and important in moving on to the championships. Check out all the pictures and videos on the website and we can’t wait until our next Sampling Event!

The Virginia Tech POWERADE reps hosted the second POWERADE sampling event tonight at the rec fields! Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the flag football games. We had an awesome turnout! Be sure to check out pictures and videos of the football games and the athletes posing with the POWERADE samples! There will be two more sampling events next week on Monday, 9/27 and Wednesday 9/29, so come out and get free POWERADE!!

Virginia Tech Flag Football was in full force last night as we had our first POWERADE sampling event. Many athletes came out to have a great time and receive some free POWERADE. The flag football season started earlier due to the cold weather conditions last year and everyone seems to love the change. The playoffs games now start next Sunday and the Champ Night is October the 12th. Our next POWERADE sampling event is this Monday starting at 7pm. So everyone come out and great samples of great tasting POWERADE!

Last night’s POWERADE sampling event at Virgina Tech was a great success! Several intramural football players approached the POWERADE booth requesting their favorite flavors. Once the athletes received their POWERADE samples, they posed for pictures with the product. Additionally, the POWERADE campus representatives took pictures of the athletes in action during their football games.
